The hostel is conveniently located near the city center and main trails, making it a great choice for exploring the area. the facilities are well-maintained and very clean. the staff, particularly Elin, are friendly and helpful. the room had a modern bathroom with plenty of hot water for a refreshing shower.

The noise from the pub below could be heard in the room, which may disturb light sleepers.

The value for money at Gallt Y Glyn was excellent, with a clean and comfortable room that provided great rest after a long day of hiking. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to mountain trails and nearby amenities. The staff were fantastic, friendly, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

I recently stayed at Gallt Y Glyn in Llanberis for one night. The location was perfect for our mountain trip and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hostel itself was very clean and comfortable, with modern amenities such as clean bathrooms and individual cubicles in the dorm rooms. The pizzas served in the restaurant were absolutely amazing and made fresh to order. it was great value for money and I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was spacious enough for our romantic escape and came with clean towels, which was a nice touch. The food offered was local and we enjoyed customizing our own pizzas, making for a personalized dining experience.

The bed was extremely noisy and we were constantly disturbed by noise from other rooms and people downstairs. The presence of mould on the window frames and in the shower was not only unappealing but also concerning for our health.

During my recent stay at Gallt Y Glyn, I was impressed with the friendly and helpful hosts. They made me feel welcome and were always available to assist with any questions or concerns. The location of the hostel was perfect for my hiking trip, as it was conveniently close to Snowdon and the bus stop for the Pyg/Miners track. The communal areas provided ample space for socializing with other like-minded guests. The room temperature was adjustable with the radiator setting, ensuring a comfortable stay. The fact that the property is a local business rather than a large chain was also a plus for me.

The value for money at Gallt Y Glyn was excellent, and the room was perfect for a short stay. The location was ideal for the places we wanted to visit, and Darren provided exceptional service from pre-arrival to departure. He was friendly, helpful, and full of helpful advice about the area.

During my recent stay at Gallt Y Glyn, I had the pleasure of meeting Elin, the owner/host, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. She provided me with valuable information on climbing Snowdon, recommending the exciting and challenging Miners route. Thanks to her advice, I had a memorable experience on the hike. Moreover, the breakfast offered at the hostel was excellent value for money, providing a satisfying meal to fuel my adventure. The pizza in the evening was also delicious and well-deserved after a long hike. The views from my room were breathtaking, with Snowdon visible right from my window. The location of the hostel was perfect, and the staff were fantastic. I had a perfect stay at Gallt Y Glyn.

Although the car park was quite small, there was plenty of space available outside on the path.

For the price we paid, our stay at Gallt Y Glyn was definitely worth it. The room was clean, comfortable, and nice and warm, with a great shower. The location was perfect for our Snowdon hike, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We had an amazing pizza at the onsite restaurant, and overall, it was a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend it, although it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.
